The Big Bang: A gigantic explosion; the origins of our universe.

The Big Bang, Baby Redux Challenge: To return to the beginning, and watch it all happen again.

Our Philosophy:

Physicists believe that the Big Bang must naturally go hand in hand with the Big Crunch:  that when the known universe reaches its farthest limits, there is nowhere to go but back, to begin anew again and again: a concept your less learned Big Bang Mods embrace fully.

Post-war, post-Hogwarts stories have dominated our pairing since the publishing of Half-Blood Prince, for obvious reasons; but yours truly long for simpler times, when Quidditch matches, Astronomy Tower duels, O.W.L. scores, and Yule Ball dates were topmost in our heroes concerns; the dark lord a distant-seeming threat within Hogwarts walls.

We also believe it's important to go back to JKR's text, her characterizations, to what we know about Harry and Draco apart from each other, who they are as people, and let their story move from there.  To put away the stock phrases, the plots, emotions, and shortcuts that prevent us from ever starting over, though our stories may be the poorer for it.  Because we think: that's just the way Harry/Draco is supposed to be... right?

Not this time around.  We challenge you, our final Big Bang, Baby participants, to write a "new classic" in Harry/Draco fic.  Re-invent old themes, create new ones, and start the Harry/Draco revolution with a Bang - all over again.
